Critical Care is a complete syringe feeding formula for use supporting ill or special needs rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and other small herbivores. Critical Care contains no medication, but provides a proper balance of fiber and energy to support the digestive track of herbivores. Vet techs, rescuers and rehabbers often use this formula for hand-feeding a rabbit that has stopped eating or is recovering from surgery and unable to eat on their own. It also comes in handy for feeding in a dish for those rabbits without teeth or with other health issues.

To use, mix 1 part of the Critical Care Powder with 1.5 parts warm water. Mixed portions can be refrigerated for later use.

Pet owners should not use this product without the supervision of a veterinarian. Behaviors such as lack of appetite are almost always a symptom of a very serious underlying problem which may be life threatening, and should be assessed by a qualified veterinarian immediately. This product should not be used as a treat, nor as a standard dietary supplement.
